Rebar Corrosion Inhibitor
Forms a protective film on reinforcement and blocks chloride attack, delaying corrosion initiation in marine, de-icing salt and chloride-contaminated environments.
Overview
Chloride ingress destroying the passive film on reinforcement is the main cause of failure in marine and de-icing salt structures. Inhibitors form an adsorbed film on the steel and raise the chloride threshold at which corrosion starts.

Application notes
An inhibitor is one part of a durability system: use it together with a low w/b ratio, adequate cover and good curing. Dosage follows the chloride exposure class; in severe exposure combine with SCMs and an air entrainer.
Typical uses
Harbour and wharf structures, sea-crossing bridges, de-icing salt pavements and car parks, foundations in saline soils, repair of existing structures.
